REV TO THE LIMIT
Our favorite automotive journo takes the latest Ferrari creation for a spin on both the road and track. He calls the new 488 is "a very interesting machine". And very fast. Watch and enjoy.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is a car that removes the smooth, silky Aston Martin veneer and shows it true self - an angry, shouty driving machine. Anis perfect if you want to tell everyone you have a gentleman's car, but are actually kind of a lunatic.
The people over at have driven it and they say it is crazy. Watch the video below to see the full review. Or you can just listen to it, that is the noise they play in heaven.
Steve Sutcliffe reviews the latest Porsche 911 GT3 and he reckons it could be the world's best sports car.
The reviews on the new-generation Porsche 911 GT3 keep dropping in with the latest video coming from UK magazine Autocar's road tester, Steve Sutcliffe, who sat behind the wheel of the most focused 991 to date during the car's European media presentation. To say that he was impressed, is an understatement, with Sutcliffe stating that it's extremely fast yet "so stable", going as far as saying that it's "the bargain of the century" at £100,000 (equal, but not comparable, to about US$152,000) and the "best car Porsche has ever made".
Since we gather some of you will be asking, the Nissan GT-R starts at £76,610 (US$117,000) in Britain.
Before we let you watch the video (that is, if you haven't done so already), we'll remind youthat the new 911 GT3 comes with a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine rated for 469HP (475PS) with a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission transferring power to the rear axle, for a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 315 km/h (195 mph)
It's a Friday night in late April. In New York, the weather is starting to look great. I feel like getting into my car tomorrow morning and going for a thrash. I am going to need some motivation, like watching some Top 10 NBA Plays before I play pick up basketball.
So why not turn on the computer, crank up the speakers and enjoy 6 awesome minutes of Porsche GT3 bombing around various rally courses?
This video is a compilation of driver Ruben Zeltner's rally events in 2011 and 2012. We've seen some of his antics before. This video is visually and aurally awesome to take in. At least as far as I'm concerned, the only thing better than fast cars is fast cars on dirt and snow
Why McLaren Stopped Building The 12C. Welcome To The McLaren 650S Spider. It Is Amazing (& SO Much Better Than The 12C).
The McLaren 650S Spider is more than a modified 12C Spider. A quarter of its parts are new and owes much to the mighty P1. Steve Sutcliffe finds out if it can still thrill.
The McLaren 650S Spider costs some £20k more than the £190,000 coupe version, and it's worth every penny. Why? Because it can do just about everything the coupé can do dynamically yet adds a sizeable hit of extra sex appeal to go with it. And that arrives courtesy of a folding hard top roof that can glide up or down in but a few seconds, and which transforms the 650S into an even more exotic creature on the move. Steve Sutcliffe puts it to the test.
