Rev To The Limit |
PAGANI ZONDA R VIDEOSThe Pagani Zonda has stoked many a supercar fantasy since it came out. While nobody ever said that the Zonda wasn't crazy enough, it seems that the maniacs in Pagani headquarters disagreed and thought it could use some more poke. They also decided that they should go out with a bang since the Huarya was being readied to take over. The Zonda R is the end of the Zonda line. As you can see in these insane Zonda R videos, everything gets turned up to eleven with this final model, 739 HP 6.0-liter V12, 0-to-60 times of three seconds, and a blistering top speed of 233 MPH.
The car also spares no expense, wearing top shelf parts made of titanium and carbon fiber, and the price shows. Only 15 Zonda R's will be available to the public for a mind-blowing $1.8 million, and they're building one extra to keep at the factory. Guess if you're going to go out, you go out big. The videos below show the Zonda R being thrashed by Autocar as well as some hotlaps in the Pagani Zonda R. Also, don't forget the Top Gear guys having some fun in the Zonda R as well as Tiff from Fifth Gear too. Read the full Pagani Zonda R review here
PAGANI ZONDA R PICTURESWe read all the time about cars that punch above their weight class. "Can't believe that has XXX horsepower under the hood". Well, we don't think the track-only Zonda R has that problem. It looks like a that has an astounding 748 hp per ton. It looks like it has a central monocoque that is made from carbon-titanium and that the whole car weighs only 2,358 pounds. When you see the Zonda R in pictures, you're also not surprised to learn that the Zonda R's upgraded 6.0-liter V12 develops 800 horses and 538 foot-pounds of torque. Yep, not surprises here, the Zonda R looks like a menacing, crazy beast that we would love to own.
The bodywork and aero has been altered to offer maximum downforce. You can see from the Zonda R pictures below that the body features a longer front bonnet with flaps, a closed underbody and a new rear overhang with adjustable rear wing and race-derived diffuser. This means more aerodynamic efficiency and greater downforce to max out corner velocity. The car's interior is spartan reflecting the car's racetrack aspirations and intended home, and features bespoke seats, customized to the driver to offer maximum support. As before, the Digitek instrumentation provides essential information and the sophisticated telemetry allows a variety of sensors to monitor numerous aspects of the car.
